About Dan
The Dan White Scholarship Fund was setup after Dan White, a 5th grade teacher at Campbell Elementary School, was killed by a drunk driver.
Dan created a legacy of outstanding passion for teaching his students and dedication to the advancement of his profession. In his role at Campbell School, he invigorated his love of teaching with dedication and exuberance.
Dan’s family’s intentions in establishing this fund are to provide financial assistance to students who are enrolled in education or a related field in a 2-3 year university in Michigan.
